Control, configure and limit device functionality with push-to-talk mobile device management (MDM).
CAT-6’s Mobile Device Management (also known as Kiosk Mode) enables you to control how devices are used. The dispatch controller has full control over device features, systems settings, applications and user permissions to ensure absolute security and correct use of devices at all times. Temporary mitigation is also possible via the dispatch console.
Devices can be configured to run in single application mode, letting users launch only the push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC ) application, or in multi-application mode, letting users use only whitelisted and approved third party applications.
As well as controlling device functionality, MDM can also create cost savings by preventing unnecessary use of corporate resources.
